Journal of Vedic Astrology 2005 - Chakra Prediction Issue - Editorial
The Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) is a part of Veda. Jyotish is Jyoti of Isha meaning Light of God. The Vedic Astrology is 'Divine Light' for the welfare of the humanity. It has been observed that people having formal qualification of Vedic Astrology fail to grasp the comprehensiveness of the subject to enable them to make effective predictions. There are vast literature classical and modern commentaries on each branch of this esoteric science. It is often difficult for an individual to retrieve or use them properly while reading a horoscope. In order to fill this gap specially analyzed Prediction Sheets had been prepared by the undersigned after carefully reviewing the literature on each of the branch of Vedic Astrology - Vedic Astrology, Prashna Shastra (the Science of Horary), Chakra prediction, Jaimini Astrology, Vowel Science and Vastushastra. Such sheets have been prepared for other predictive sciences, namely Palmistry, Numerology and Tarot Reading. These Sheets have been prepared keeping in view the needs of the querist to the astrologer while making a reading.
In order to increase the outreach International Institute of Vedic Astrology (www.astrosciences.com) was launched in 2000AD. This Institute was launched in order to spread this divine light by upgrading the predictive skills of the practitioners of Vedic Astrology. It was perhaps the only finishing school for astrologers providing Vishnu Prediction Sheets top astrologers across the globe free of cost. In a short span of five years it has grown into a large fraternity of astrologers providing the benefit of the science to people from Tokyo to San Jose with number of Chapters in many countries.
The researches done in the institute were of very high order producing papers on hitherto untouched by the researching astrologers partly by their complexities and partly they were tied down to stereotyped researches under the guidance of their teachers. Some of the papers of its kind – Swar Shastra and Sarvatobhadra Chakra were published in astrology journal of repute. However, as the number of papers increased it was not possible for the outside journal to publish all the papers timely. Therefore last year a new publication entitled “Journal of Vedic Astrology” was started. It included some the original researches done by undersigned in the field of Vedic Astrology. The copies of the issue were distributed free among researchers, faculty of Vedic Astrology. The response to the issue was overwhelming.
In the field of Chakra Prediction comprehensive research based of Kavi Narpati’s “Narpatijayacharyasvarodaya” was under way in the Institute for few years. This resulted in number of papers in this field along with a review paper on methodology of interpretation of about twenty Chakras. These Chakras are - Sarvatobhadra Chakra, Chhatra (Chamar) Chakra, Singhasan Chakra, Koorma Chakra, Sanghatta Rashi Chakra, Sanghatta Nakshatra Chakra, Rahu Kaalanal Chakra, Sapta Shalaka Chakra, Pancha Shalaka Chakra, Ghor Kaalanal Chakra, Surya Kaalanal Chakra, Chandra Kaalanal Chakra, Shashi Surya Kaalanal Chakra, Ghoodha Kaalanal Chakra, Kota Chakra, Tripataki Chakra, Ansha Swar Chakra, Matrika Chakra, Sapta Nadi Chakra and Kalasha Vastu Purusha Chakra. In the past their have been couple of articles in some journals on couple of Chakras and that too giving interpretation incorporating features contrary to classics. In the Institute six papers have evolved on ten Chakras with large number of case studies on events across the world. A paper on interpretation of Sudarshana Chakra with case study has also developed. All these formed the basis of bringing out this year’s issue on theme of Chakra Prediction. It is for the fist time any journal has produced so many papers with large number of case studies on the subject. It is hoped that the astrologer community will find is useful. I am grateful to the sponsors for their support in spreading this super science for the welfare of the society.
