The planetary combinations for conception, development of foetus, birth and life are elaborately treated in the Astrological sciences. Humanity is mainly divided in two broad categories – Male & Female. There is a small percentage of Eunuchs also, but they are unable to reproduce due to lack of reproductive organs. Therefore the main constituents for the growth of humanity come from males and females. Male and Female relationships acquire utmost importance in the happiness of the individual, the family and society in general. Astrology of Love, Relationships, Marriage & Progeny is an important aspect of an astrologer’s consultations. In this issue an attempt has been made to put together the all-important astrological rules concerning these topics.  

For a compatibility analysis, some basic interpretations of male and female charts are essential. Some common parameters for males and females are - health, longevity, education, fortune, progeny, character and nature. Items specific to males include - male diseases, impotency, extra marital relations and widower-hood. The issues specific to females are - female diseases, Visha Kanya, Gandanta, barrenness, widowhood, female character, abortion and other childbirth issues. All these are covered in the first Paper.

The paper on Strijatak – Female Horoscopy - enumerates the method of interpretation of women’s horoscope. It will also enable the reader to understand astrologically the peculiar psychological and physiological features that makes women such an elusive creation of God.
